This website is operated by Steadihand (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority where you live to place an order, or have permission from a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when ordering.
2. Products
We aim to describe and picture our products accurately. Colours and details may look slightly different depending on your screen, and illustrations are for guidance. Product specifications may change slightly between production runs.
Our canes are walking aids that provide an extra handle for leverage when standing up from a seat. They are not medical devices, are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and are not a substitute for professional advice. Always set up and use the product according to the supplied instructions, practise at home first, and stay within any stated weight rating. If you are unsure whether a cane is suitable, ask your doctor or therapist.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. Promotional prices apply only while stated. We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full. Payment is processed securely at checkout by our payment providers.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the item. We may limit quantities or decline orders at our discretion, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers.
5. Shipping
Delivery times are estimates. Our Shipping Policy explains processing times, delivery estimates, customs duties and what happens if a parcel is late, lost or damaged. Risk of loss passes to you when the order is delivered to the carrier, except where the law says otherwise.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy where one is published, and always in line with your statutory rights. Contact us before sending anything back.
7. Use of the site
You agree not to misuse the site, including by interfering with its operation, attempting to gain unauthorised access, uploading harmful code, or using it for any unlawful purpose. Reviews, photos or other content you send us must be your own and truthful. By submitting them, you give us permission to display them on our site and marketing.

All content on this site, including text, illustrations, graphics and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9. Third-party services and links
The site runs on third-party services, such as our e-commerce platform and payment providers, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law or stated in writing by us. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
